I have had an exciting time assisting district governors for the last five years in many ways from working with presidents, writing the District Newsletter for 5 years celebrating what Rotary does and why someone would love to be part of our organization. I joined the PI team, became a club president, assistant governor, PI instructor at PNWPETS, and Leadership Academy, and was a Youth Exchange Officer. I have a passion for helping Rotarians to get the word out about our great organization. Before Rotary, I was a 35 year Secondary Educator teaching writing and publishing in many books and magazines, and won the Sohio Teacher of the Year and Coca Cola teacher of distinction, along with many other awards. I worked with students in Student Council and Interact on Service projects to better the community and world. I also worked as a photographer and social media to toot our students great works.
